Ready to use and available Ex-stock. The BPGA range is a fully certified Zone 1 and 21 GRP hazardous area enclosure ideally suited for use in instrumentation, small power or lighting applications.
Abtech’s BPGA range of pre-assembled junction boxes comprises three types of enclosure in two sizes and three standard configurations. These JB's are fully populated with SAK or WDU 2.5mm terminals and provide earth continuity in line with the requirements for IEC 60079-10 for Ex e increased safety in hazardous locations.
Based on the field-proven BPG range and manufactured from impact-resistant GRP. The BPGA range has been configured specifically for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
To ensure maximum flexibility for installation the junction box features a copper earth continuity plate; brass M6 internal/external earth stud; four pre-drilled M20 threaded entries (two in the top and two in the bottom) each fitted with an Ex e blanking plug.
BPGA enclosures are marked T5/T6 and are fully ATEX and IECEx (Ex‘e’) compliant for use in zoned hazardous locations. These junction boxes are IP66/67 and Shell/ERA deluge tested providing superior levels of ingress protection.
All three versions are available in standard grey or black carbon loaded for increased anti-static performance.
