Medium Voltage Junction Box

The MJB range provides a simple, low cost but effective solution for the termination of cables up to 8.3kV in Ex-rated locations.

Manufactured from marine-grade 316L (1.404) stainless steel and used primarily for jointing cables or as a connection box, the MJB is suitable for up to four phase connections (top & bottom) and a maximum voltage of 8.3kV.

The MJB is a through connection box with cables coming in and out at 180 degrees. It accepts 6mm² to 150mm² for 4-way configuration and 35mm² to 240mm² as a 3-way.

As with other HV enclosures in the range, this 8.6kV design is IP66 to EN 60529 and DTS-01 deluge tested to ensure maximum protection against the ingress of dust and water.
