Abtech have been supplying product ranges for tunnel applications for over 25 years. With the unique environments and conditions of tunnel applications, Abtech’s range of fire rated, submersible and explosion-proof enclosures ensure compliance with safety regulations and mitigate risks. We also supply illuminated tunnel escape signage.
Our most recent projects include the New York Transit System supplying our Nautilus and SX range enclosures. Abtech’s Nautilus submersible enclosure is certified IP68 at 100 metres for fives days to EN60529, maintaining critical electrical connections within locations where potential flooding can occur.
Our reinforced SX range manufactured from 316L stainless steel, features high levels of impact (IK10) and ingress protection (IP66/67/68 and Type 4X) certified for temporary submersion in shallower depths and dust resistance.
