111 Years of Stainless Steel

Did you know that stainless steel was invented 111 years ago today!?

In 1913, Harry Brearley of Sheffield discovered "rustless" steel, and his breakthrough paved the way for Sheffield to become synonymous with the steel industry.

Thanks to its impressive properties, including high corrosion and heat resistance, excellent formability and weldability, and remarkable durability, stainless steel is the key component of our SX range.

Manufactured from marine grade 316L (1.404) stainless steel and with complete stainless-steel fixings, the SX range features high levels of impact (IK10) and ingress protection (IP66/67/68) and designed and certified for use in the most arduous hazardous areas on the planet.
